The Honda Accord has been renowned for its finesse and refinement over many years. However, recent models have not quite reached their usual standard, particularly in the area of road and general operational noise. It is this area that Honda has sought to address in the 2001 model upgrade.

 

From the exterior, the Accord has been given a more aggressive stance with a higher bonnet line, a new chrome grille and minor changes to the front bumper. Although minor cosmetic changes have been adopted at the rear, these are only visible when comparing directly with the previous model.
