INSTALLATION PROCEDURES: These mounts must be used on Toyota trucks that were equipped with I.F.S. (Independent Front Suspension). The mounts are designed for use with the late model stock Toyota truck 5-speed, GM-TH350 and the GM 700R-4 transmissions. The engine location has been established so that the transfer case can remain in the original location with the GM-TH350 and the original Toyota truck 5-speed transmissions. When using the GM 700R-4 transmission, you will need to move the transfer case back approximately 1.50”. However, if you use the “short” style water pump you can fit the 700R-4 transmission in and leave the transfer-case in it’s original location, provided you eliminate the mechanical driven cooling fan and use electric cooling fans on the front of the radiator
